NOW: It’s the year for hot country blondes to get engaged! First Carrie, then Miranda, now Kellie Pickler is taking the plunge! The lucky man is songwriter Kyle Jacobs, who co-wrote the Garth Brooks hit, ‘More Than A Memory’ with Lee Brice.
Kyle proposed to Kellie on a Florida Beach at sunset on June 15th — which is also the birthday of her late grandmother, Faye Pickler. Faye is the one who raised Kellie.
“It turned out to be the most amazing day of my life,” Kellie, 23, tells PEOPLE Magazine. “My whole world changed. We both feel like we got my grandmother’s blessing.” The couple met 2 and half years ago. Wedding details soon!
