NOW: The Jimmy Buffett & Friends concert scheduled for this Thursday (July 1st) in Gulf Shores, Alabama, has been rescheduled for Sunday July 11th due to surf conditions on the beach.
According to officials, the hurricane in the Gulf is not expected to affect the area. But ‘increased water inundation’ at the beach is expected.
Jimmy Buffett said, “Nobody hates this more than I do, but I guess, as the song says, it’s hard to reason with hurricane season. For those going anyway, thank you. … For the rest of you, we will see you July 11.”
Zac Brown will still be appearing at the rescheduled show, however, Kenny Chesney won’t be able to make it due to a prior obligation. The show will air at 7p (et) July 11th on CMT and also at CMT.com.

According to ‘Life and Style’, Carrie is set to wed pro hockey player Mike Fisher on July 10th. As far as the honeymoon is concerned, Mike has planned an 11-day trip taking the couple to the Tahitian cities of Papeete and Raiatea. (Anyone know where those are at?) Then will end their honeymoon in Bora Bora!
Also, this wedding date might have just been inadvertently confirmed by Carrie’s tour mate Craig Morgan, who now says he won’t be able to attend her wedding because he will be working. Craig has a concert on July 10th.

NOW: It’s the year for hot country blondes to get engaged! First Carrie, then Miranda, now Kellie Pickler is taking the plunge! The lucky man is songwriter Kyle Jacobs, who co-wrote the Garth Brooks hit, ‘More Than A Memory’ with Lee Brice.
Kyle proposed to Kellie on a Florida Beach at sunset on June 15th — which is also the birthday of her late grandmother, Faye Pickler. Faye is the one who raised Kellie.
“It turned out to be the most amazing day of my life,” Kellie, 23, tells PEOPLE Magazine. “My whole world changed. We both feel like we got my grandmother’s blessing.” The couple met 2 and half years ago. Wedding details soon!
